We are all aware that a global change in human consciousness is absolutely necessary NOW. Every heart can make this choice. A new consciousness is arising in us and around us. We long for it and we need to help each other strengthen its reality in our everyday lives……..(from “Invitation to the Reader,” Songlines, p. 1).

My teaching, my writings, and my life, are dedicated to helping birth this new vision in our times. So too is my website. Welcome!

Dr. Goodchild has published two books, Eros and Chaos: The Sacred Mysteries and Dark Shadows of Love (2001, 2008) and Songlines of the Soul: Pathways to a New Vision for a New Century (Foreword by Thomas Moore) (2012). Her Introduction to an edited volume on the Gnostic Mary Magdalene for a book titled Mary of Magdala was published in 2010 by Spring Journal Books. Her current teaching and research interests are focused on Jung’s later works, their intersection with the new emerging sciences such as quantum mechanics, and the new worldview and vision of reality that arises with subtle body phenomena such as UFOs, Crop Circles, and NDEs. Veronica is also interested in the shamanic and esoteric roots of Jung’s psychology and visits ancient dream incubation temples, stone circles, and cave art that point to these early origins of humankind’s interest in the sacred and portals to other dimensions of consciousness.

A meditative solo walk along the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in SW France in both 2013 and 2015 in response to our environmental and spiritual crises has deeply influenced her feelings about our ecological challenges. Veronica is in the process of writing up her experiences of these pilgrimage walks. She is also currently apprenticing in two separate but related shamanic traditions.

In June 2016, a numinous dream of a Grail Chalice arising out of the ocean, drawing up water from the depths and pouring it out of the Cup like a fountain, has led Veronica on yet another journey of discovery – this time to the Languedoc region of SW France, Cathar and Troubadour country, to revisit the Grail myths, and to discover hidden stories of the Gnostic Mary Magdalene and Jesus who, according to legends, lived in these parts (as well as in Provence) with their children ‘after’ the crucifixion.” (Click here to See Veronica’s New Article on her blog)
